History

   Valtra began manufacturing tractors in 1951, when the former Valmet weapons factory switched to civilian equipment and produced the first Valmet 20 tractor. But the company itself dates back to the 19th century.

Today, Valtra tractors are a fusion of two traditions: the Finnish Valmet and the Swedish Volvo BM, which was a subsidiary of Eskilstuna Mekaniska Werkstad, founded by Theophron Munktell in 1832.

Since then, Valmet has constantly evolved and underwent many changes that have affected not only the name - from Valmet and ValtraValmet to Valtra - but also new developments: an extensive series of tractors from 55 to 400 horsepower appeared.

The Valtra A95 is powered by a four-cylinder AGCOPower engine with mechanical fuel injection. The advantage of this engine is that a high torque is achieved at a low speed.
