SHIBAURA is a corporation resulting from the merger of two giants of the Japanese engineering industry. They are Toshiba and IHI, which merged under one brand in 1950. Initially, the company specialized in the production of diesel engines, and in the early sixties it began to produce universal tractors, the power of which did not exceed 40 horsepower. At the end of the seventies, the company launched the production of medium-power tractors - 50 hp. At the moment, equipment under the SHIBAURA brand is manufactured at four factories in Japan:
Tractor building - in Matsumoto;
Engine Manufacturing Plant in Matsumoto;
The plant producing hedge trimmers, blowers, petrol cutters and saws, ozone-emitting equipment - in Okayama;
Factory for front mowers and golf course maintenance machines - Ashikag.
At the moment, the company is fully under the jurisdiction of the IHI corporation - the leader in the Japanese industry in the production of aircraft and engines, power plants and industrial equipment.
Equipment produced by the company
SHIBAURA's scope of production includes the production of world-class professional gardening equipment, with excellent quality and a high degree of reliability:
A distinctive feature of all manufactured equipment is the installation of our own engines on it. The entire SHIBAURA range is ergonomic and practical solutions that are characterized by increased functionality, ease of use, safety and innovative technical solutions.
Professional equipment for gardening works, subject to correct operation and timely prevention, will last long enough if you strictly follow all the manufacturer's recommendations. But it may also happen that the tool is out of order and urgently needs repair. It can be both mechanical damage and malfunction of the components of the engine mechanism due to overheating, breakdown of the piston group, spark plugs, etc. In this case, it is necessary to repair or replace non-working parts, as well as diagnose the equipment after repairing the damage.
